[ Websites for course creators ]
Kajabi for courses.
Framer for the rest.
Course creators and online coaches: your courses, payments and emails stay in Kajabi or the platform you already use. I design the public website on Framer and connect every button and form to it, so sales and sign-ups land in the right place.

[ For course creators ]
What a course creator website
needs to do.
Your course platform is built to deliver lessons and take payments. It’s rarely built to convince a stranger who has never heard of you. That job belongs to your public website: the homepage, the program pages, the free webinar or guide, the articles people find on Google. When those pages are clear and fast, your platform receives buyers who already trust you.
So I keep the split simple. Kajabi, Teachable, Thinkific, Podia or GoHighLevel keeps the courses, the checkout, the member login and the email sequences. The Framer website handles everything people see before they buy, and every form sends contacts to your platform with the right tag, so your automations keep running exactly as before.
You don’t move a single student or rebuild a single lesson. Your checkout links stay valid, and you edit the website yourself in a visual editor, as easily as a document. For a launch, a webinar or a new program, one landing page delivered in 7 days is often enough to start.

[ Guide ]
Kajabi and Framer:
a website guide for course creators.
If you sell courses or coaching programs online, you probably already pay for Kajabi or a platform like it. The real question is whether that platform should also be your website. This guide explains how I split the work between the two, with a real example and the mistakes I see most often on websites for course creators.
Do you need a Kajabi website designer?
You need someone who understands Kajabi, not necessarily someone who builds your whole site inside it. Kajabi is excellent at what happens after the sale: hosting lessons, taking payments, running email sequences and managing members. The pages that turn a stranger into a buyer can live on a builder made for design and speed.
That’s the setup I recommend to most course creators: keep Kajabi for courses and payments, and put the public website on Framer, connected to it. I’m a certified Framer Expert, so I lean that way, and I explain below when Kajabi alone is the better choice.
How do Framer and Kajabi work together?
They work together through links, forms and your domain: each tool keeps its own job, and the visitor moves from one to the other without noticing. A typical setup looks like this:
- The domain is split. yourname.com points to Framer, and a subdomain such as learn.yourname.com points to Kajabi for courses and the member login.
- Buy buttons open Kajabi checkout. Every “Join the program” button on the Framer website leads to the matching Kajabi offer.
- Forms send contacts to Kajabi. Webinar, challenge and free guide sign-ups arrive in Kajabi with the right tag, through an embedded Kajabi form or a small automation.
- Emails stay where they are. Reminders, nurture sequences and the newsletter keep running in Kajabi, untouched.
- A login link sits in the menu. Current students reach their courses in one click.
| Job | Where it lives |
|---|---|
| Homepage, about and program pages | Framer |
| Blog, podcast and free resources | Framer CMS |
| Webinar and lead magnet sign-up pages | Framer, form connected to Kajabi |
| Checkout and payments | Kajabi |
| Courses, lessons and member login | Kajabi |
| Email sequences and newsletter | Kajabi |
When is Kajabi alone enough?
Kajabi alone is enough when you’re starting out with one course, a small audience and no time to manage two tools. Its built-in pages get a first offer online quickly, and one subscription is easier to track than two.
A separate website starts paying off when you have several offers, a blog or podcast you want found on Google, a brand the built-in templates can’t express, or pages that should look and load like a premium site. Adding Framer costs from $10 a month on the Basic plan billed yearly, as of November 2026. My Framer pricing guide explains each plan.
Kajabi website examples: what a connected setup achieves
The clearest example I can show you is Andréanne Martin, a microbiome specialist and speaker. Her old WordPress site was buggy and she couldn’t edit it on her own. Today, her public website runs on Framer, her store on Shopify and her contacts in Kajabi.
- Every webinar sign-up becomes a Kajabi contact, with its reminders and newsletter.
- More than 400 people signed up for a single webinar on June 9, 2026, all of them landing in Kajabi.
- In October 2026, the #BoostTonMicrobiote Challenge page brought more than 3,300 sign-ups in three weeks.
- Jona test purchases made on Shopify reach Kajabi too, for post-purchase follow-up.
The same logic works outside Kajabi. Progrès-Fit kept GoHighLevel for payment, community and training. Their Framer sales page leads to a 7-day free trial and brought 106 clicks to the trial checkout in October 2026. Teachable, Thinkific, Podia or Skool fit the same pattern, as long as the platform gives you checkout links and a way to receive sign-ups.
What pages does a website for online coaches and course creators need?
Most course creators need five to seven pages, each with one clear job:
- Home: who you teach, the result they get and your flagship program.
- One page per program: the outcome, the modules, the format, the price and the guarantee if you offer one.
- A free entry point: a webinar, a challenge or a guide that brings new contacts into your list.
- About: your story and the credentials that give you the right to teach this.
- Blog or podcast: answers to the questions your future students type into Google.
- FAQ: refunds, how long access lasts, what happens right after purchase.
For a single launch, one landing page delivered in 7 days can do the work of all of these. And if you coach one to one rather than selling courses, see what a coaching website needs instead.
What should you avoid when connecting a website to Kajabi?
- Forms that tag no one. A sign-up without a tag never enters the right sequence. Test every form with a real email address before launch.
- Two different looks. If checkout looks nothing like the website, buyers hesitate. Use the same logo, colors and wording on both sides.
- Broken old links. Links in past emails and posts must keep working, with a 301 redirect to each new page.
- A hidden login. Students who can’t find their course email you instead of learning.
- Dates left online. An expired webinar date on the homepage makes the whole site look abandoned. On Andréanne’s website, past events switch to “Expired” on their own.
Want to see how this would work for your programs? Book a free 30-minute call and bring your Kajabi setup. If Kajabi alone is the right answer for you, I’ll say so.

[ FAQ ]
Questions
course creators ask.
Another question? Salah answers you personally, within 24 hours.
How much does a website for a course creator cost?
From $1,000 USD for a single landing page, such as a webinar or program page, and from $1,500 USD for a complete website. The connection to your course platform is planned in the fixed price you receive after our call.
Do I have to leave Kajabi?
No. Your courses, students, payments and email sequences stay in Kajabi. Only the public pages move to Framer, and your Kajabi checkout and login links go on the buttons where buyers and students need them.
Will my webinar sign-ups still reach my email sequences?
Yes, that’s the whole point of the setup. On Andréanne Martin’s website, each webinar sign-up becomes a Kajabi contact with its reminders, and more than 400 people registered for a single webinar in June 2026.
Read the case studyDo you also work with Teachable, Thinkific, Podia or GoHighLevel?
Yes. The principle holds for any platform that gives you checkout links and a way to receive sign-ups. Progrès-Fit kept GoHighLevel for payment, community and training, and their Framer sales page simply leads to the free trial.
Can you design my website inside Kajabi instead?
If you’d rather keep everything in one tool, yes, I can work within Kajabi’s builder. To be honest, though, a Framer website connected to Kajabi gives you more design freedom and finer control over each page’s SEO.
What happens to my domain?
Your main domain points to Framer, and Kajabi keeps a subdomain such as learn.yourname.com for courses and login. Old page addresses get 301 redirects to their new pages, so links in past emails keep working.
Can I edit the website myself between launches?
Yes. You change a headline, a date or a price in Framer’s visual editor, and webinar or event pages are managed from the CMS. On Andréanne Martin’s website, past events even switch to “Expired” on their own.
How fast can a launch page be ready?
A landing page is delivered in 7 days, which suits a webinar, a challenge or a program opening. Have your offer and checkout link ready early, so we can test the full path, from sign-up to email, before traffic arrives.
