Policy
How I collect, use and protect your personal information when you visit novaa.studio or work with me. Last updated: October 26, 2026.
Who I am
Novaa Studio is a web design studio run by Salah Eddine Messaoudi, based in Canada. I am responsible for the personal information collected through novaa.studio, and I am the person in charge of protecting it. For any question about your information, write to salah@novaa.studio.
What I collect
What I collect depends on how you contact me:
Free mockup requests: your name, email, business name, current website, profession, website goal, ideal clients, what’s holding you back, budget, desired launch date and the websites you like.
Call bookings: your name, email and anything you add when you book.
Emails: your email address and the content of your messages.
Browsing data: pages visited, device, browser, approximate location and how you interact with the pages.
I don’t need sensitive information, such as health or financial details, to do my work. Please don’t include any in your messages.
Why I use it
I use your information:
To review your mockup request and prepare your mockup.
To reply to you, send you a proposal and carry out our project if you hire me.
To understand how visitors use the site and make it better.
To meet my legal, tax and accounting obligations.
I never sell your personal information, and I don’t use it for advertising.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, I rely on these legal bases: your consent, the steps you ask me to take before a contract, the performance of our contract, my legitimate interest in running and improving my business, and my legal obligations.
Cookies and analytics
Framer Analytics measures visits to the site without cookies. Microsoft Clarity uses cookies and records how pages are used (clicks, scrolling, mouse movements) so I can spot what isn’t clear; it masks sensitive content, such as what you type in form fields. The booking calendar from Cal.com may also set its own cookies.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will keep working.
Who I share it with
Your information is handled by the service providers I use to run my business, and only for what they do for me:
Framer: website hosting, forms and analytics.
Microsoft Clarity: behavior analytics.
Cal.com: call booking.
Google Workspace: email and Google Meet calls.
Google Fonts: delivery of some of the site’s fonts.
Contra: contracts and payments, if you hire me.
Some of these providers are located outside your country, including in the United States. I choose established providers that protect the data they process. I may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long I keep it
I keep your information only as long as I need it:
Mockup requests that don’t lead to a project: up to 12 months, then deleted.
Client projects, contracts and invoices: as long as tax and accounting laws require.
Analytics data: according to each provider’s retention settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under Quebec’s Law 25, the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, Australia’s Privacy Act or US state privacy laws such as California’s), you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, receive a copy of it, withdraw your consent or object to some uses.
To make a request, email salah@novaa.studio. I reply within 30 days. You can also file a complaint with the data protection authority where you live.
Security
I use established providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and accounts protected by strong passwords, and I limit access to your information to what my work requires. No method is 100% secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and professionals. It is not aimed at children under 16, and I don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy when my tools or practices change. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
