Your website has grown in layers, looks older than your work or can’t be edited without calling someone. I redesign it on Framer or on your current platform, move your content and redirect every old URL so your search traffic follows you.

Before and after,
with the numbers.
WordPress with a separate Shopify store, a GoHighLevel page builder, a Framer site built alone: each of these redesigns started from a website that no longer fit. The case studies put the old version next to the new one.

[ Website redesign ]
What a redesign
must not break.
A redesign carries more risk than a first website, because the old one already holds something worth protecting: pages Google ranks, links from other sites, contacts in your email tool, content your team spent years writing. A new look that loses those isn’t an upgrade. So before I design anything, I take stock of what exists and what it brings in.
Then I rethink the structure from your visitor’s side: what they look for first, which pages they never reach, where the main action hides. Content that still works moves to the new website, content that doesn’t gets rewritten or merged, and every URL that changes gets a 301 redirect to its new address.
The price is the same as a new website: from $1,000 USD for a landing page, from $1,500 USD for a complete website. Most redesigns land on Framer, but if your store, courses or payments already run on Shopify, Kajabi or GoHighLevel, those tools stay where they are and the new website connects to them.

[ Guide ]
Website redesign,
without starting from zero.
When does a website need a redesign?
A website needs a redesign when it stops matching your business, not when it reaches a certain age. A three-year-old site can be fine, and a one-year-old site can already be working against you.
The signs I see most often:
- You have to call someone to change a sentence.
- Your offer has changed, but the homepage still sells the old one.
- Your content is spread over two systems that look nothing alike.
- Pages are heavy and slow on a phone.
- Visitors read, then leave without finding the button that matters.
Madame Labriski had the third problem: her recipes and articles lived on a WordPress site, her products on a separate Shopify store, each with its own design. Andréanne Martin had the first one, a buggy WordPress site she couldn’t edit on her own.
Redesign or rebuild: what’s the difference?
A redesign changes how your website looks and how it’s organized while keeping what still works; a rebuild also replaces the platform underneath. Both cost the same with me, so the choice depends on the platform, not on the budget.
| Criteria | Redesign, same platform | Rebuild, new platform |
|---|---|---|
| What changes | Structure, copy, design | Structure, copy, design and the tool |
| Content | Reorganized in place | Moved to the new platform |
| URLs | Mostly kept | Kept where possible, redirected otherwise |
| Makes sense when | The platform suits you | The platform is the problem |
| Price with me | Same as a new website | Same as a new website |
Groupe Horizon was a redesign: the founder had built his website himself on Framer, and it stayed on Framer with a new structure and a front door for each audience. Andréanne Martin’s was a rebuild, from WordPress to Framer connected to Shopify and Kajabi. Progrès-Fit sits in between. The sales page moved from GoHighLevel’s page builder to Framer, while payment, the community and the training stayed on GoHighLevel, so nothing changed in the way they manage their clients.
How do you redesign a website without losing SEO?
You keep your rankings by mapping every old URL to its new address before launch and setting a 301 redirect for each one that changes. A 301 tells Google the page has moved for good, so the rankings and links it earned follow it.
My process, on every redesign:
- Inventory everything. Pages, posts, images, products, forms. For Madame Labriski, the inventory taken on September 18, 2026 counted 475 recipes, 196 articles, 118 videos and 172 pages, plus the separate Shopify store.
- Keep the same URL wherever the structure allows. A kept address beats a redirected one.
- Carry over the titles and descriptions of pages that already bring search traffic, and rewrite the weak ones.
- Redirect every URL that changes with a 301, including old blog posts that other websites link to.
- Test after launch. Open the old addresses, submit the new sitemap in Google Search Console, and watch for errors in the weeks that follow.
If you’re also changing platforms, my guides for WordPress to Framer and Wix to Framer cover the domain and the technical steps, and the migration page lists the others.
What results should you expect from a redesign?
A redesign should make your website lighter, clearer and easier to manage, and you should measure that rather than take it on faith. When the old website can be measured, I do it before touching anything, so there is a real before and after.
- Madame Labriski: the homepage went from 12.2 MB to 3.2 MB and from 217 to 119 requests, in first measurements on the test version, before optimization. More than 1,000 pieces of content moved with no data lost, and her team now manages it all themselves.
- Andréanne Martin: the old website had no reliable tracking, so there is no before. The new one launched seven weeks after the project started and in June 2026, search engines sent it 732 visits over 30 days, without any advertising.
- Progrès-Fit: nearly one visitor in ten now goes from the sales page to the free trial checkout.
How much does a website redesign cost?
A redesign costs the same as a new website: from $1,000 USD for a landing page and from $1,500 USD for a complete website, copy and design included. Sorting, rewriting and moving existing content takes as much care as writing from scratch, which is why it isn’t cheaper.
A store or a much larger project gets a custom quote. Madame Labriski’s, with more than 1,000 pieces of content and a store brought into one website, took several months, while a typical service website takes two to three weeks. The pricing page explains what moves the price.

[ FAQ ]
Questions
before a redesign.
Another question? Salah answers you personally, within 24 hours.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Not if the move is planned. I list every old URL, keep the ones that can stay, and set a 301 redirect for each one that changes, so visitors and search engines land on the right new page.
Does a redesign cost less than a new website?
No, it costs the same: from $1,000 USD for a landing page, from $1,500 USD for a complete website. Cleaning up and moving existing content takes as much care as writing new pages.
Do I have to change platforms?
No. If your current platform suits you, I can redesign on it. If it’s the reason you can’t edit your website, or it keeps breaking, moving to Framer usually solves that, and your payment or course tools can stay.
What happens to my blog posts and images?
They move with the website. I transfer posts, pages and images, keep their addresses where I can, and redirect the rest. For Madame Labriski, more than 1,000 pieces of content moved without losing any data.
Read the case studyDoes my old website stay online during the redesign?
Yes. The new website is built on a private link while the old one keeps working. The domain switches over only on launch day, once you’ve approved every page.
How long does a redesign take?
Two to three weeks for most service websites. Bigger projects take longer: Andréanne Martin’s new website launched seven weeks after the project started, with a brand identity created first.
Can you redesign a Framer website I built myself?
Yes. The founder of Groupe Horizon had built his website himself on Framer, mostly text, speaking to only one of his audiences. I redesigned it on the same platform, with a front door for each audience and a page about him.
